The success of the fair depends greatly on quality judging by generous volunteers. With over 500 students from around Southwestern Montana participating, we needed over 200 judges for the 2010 fair.

Division II (5 - 8) judges are distributed by grade level and category (Behavioral, Earth, Life, and Physical Science) based on number of projects in each area.

Division I (9 - 12) judges must be working scientists, health professionals or engineers. Judges must demonstrate expertise gained from related education or work experience. The Judges had to indicate which category they would like to judge and had to briefly explain their experience.

A hospitality room is provided the day of the fair for all judges as well as lunch. We appreciate all of their time and effort, Thank You so much!
